DTM on Sturgis 2009 http://bromates.net/2009/08/dtm-sturgis-2009/ Brothers + Roomates = Bromates Wed, 06 Jan 2010 23:16:38 -0700 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.8.2 hourly 1 DTM on Sturgis 2009 http://bromates.net/2009/08/dtm-sturgis-2009/comment-page-1/#comment-103 DTM Wed, 23 Sep 2009 20:04:27 +0000 http://bromates.net/?p=201#comment-103 thanks 4 all the nice comments....;-) i purposely left ummm........ well some of the "DTM" out of the above story. i really wanted it to be serious, much unlike me as we all know. anyhow, after a few requests here is the rest of the story. so after being pulled over by the state troopers, i was sitting in there front seat with one of them and answering questions. i had already told them that i texted LB to let him know i was on my way.... cuz i knew LB would come back for me and wanted to cover his ass. so as i'm sitting there answering questions with the trooper here pulls up a mini school bus with a disco ball an neon lights going on inside...........and who jumps off the bus? yep you guessed it LB to the rescue, mind you i knew they weren't lettin me go, but LB tried the ole "how bout you guys let him go with me and we'll walk home bit" yeah notr happenin in sturgis too much money to be made by us dumbass drunks!;-) none the less the troopers asked LB if he wanted to take my bike so it didn't have to be towed.....to which he wisely responded "no i been drinkin!" but he said he had some one coming to bring it to our campground. the troopers said if it wasnt gone by the time they were it had to be towed...... dun dun dun LB swept into action an sum how found a sober person on the party bus who after i fixed my bike an they took a breath alizer, drove my bike to the campground. that saved us bout 7 bills which we didn't have after bailing me out.;-( wouldv'e ben a long ride home 2 up on LB's bike!;-) this was definitly one of those times in life where a picture wouldv'e ben worth a thousand words.............;-) thanks for all the memories LB, this past year or so has been one hell of a ride, can't put into words what it's meant to have you by my side! Daniel my brother, there are no words to describe my love for you, Terri and Gregory, BUT I will say, there isn't anything I wouldn't do for the three of you. My family, my rocks, my hands to hold, my shoulders to cry on, and my strength when I need it! Daniel, I have made so many mistakes in life, I have only regreted them if I wasn't able to learn and grow from them. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us, I hope you always know how loved you are and no matter how tall the mountain is I will always be there to climb it with you. To have the balls to stand up to it and take a path less travelled is beyond wise. The best thing about you DTM is that while you may have made a few "bad" things look "cool" ... you've offered me and I'm sure the rest of the family so much more than just DTM the party man. Your ability to put every ounce of effort into your tile work, harley, 10 or 12 blazers, your boy, etc... is to say the least... amazing. Take your new outlook and run with it.
